Strong winds blow 60foot tree onto our lawn.
This all happened at night on 10/26/2009. There was a monsoon type storm that blew through Boise. Two trees blew over and fell into our yard. The branches were originally blocking the driveway. Thanfully our neighbors (art studio) came over with a chainsaw to clear out the driveway. ALSO THANKFULLY OUR HOUSE WAS NOT HIT.
The city came by two day later to clean up the mess.
(PICTURES BELOW ARE AFTER THE CLEANUP, 2 DAYS LATER) Aside from our poor trees that got smashed and the end of our fence, you almost can't tell anything happened. Check out our Maple tree... it's branches got stripped. Since the trees that fell were owned by the city, we need to file a tort claim for damages. We'll see what happen with that.
