Winter 2009/2010 First Snow in Town

So this is the first snow fall in Boise this year (Monday Dec. 7th). This snow storm was followed by about one week of high temperatures of 20degrees (as in the warmest it got was 20 degrees.... NOT "in the 20s"). The nights were getting to zero degrees and sometimes slightly below zero, and of course there was the negative wind chill factor. From what I hear, it's been about 14 years since it's been this cold in Boise.
